Have faith..

I often search for motivational & inspirational qoutes in the internet in times of need. But i forgot to find peace from two most precious things Allah s.w.t. has given that are Al-Quran & Sunnah. Al-Quran is the words of Allah & sunnah is from Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Subhanallah. May we find peace through reading and understanding the Quran and follow the teaching of our beloved Prophet s.a.w.

"Put your trust in Allah : Allah loves those who put their trust in Him"
(Surah Al-Imran 3 verse 159)

Did you know which surah in Quran that tells us to cover our aurat? It is in Surah An Nur (The Light) verse 31... 

"And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed." 24 : 31

Puasa sunat 6 hari @ Syawal

Berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan & ditambah dengan 6 hari pada bila2 di bulan Syawal (1 Syawal diharamkan) semata-mata kerana Allah s.w.t, ganjaran seperti berpuasa sepanjang tahun. SubhanAllah. Lets take this opportunity!!

2nd day of Syawal..

Alhamdulillah, today muslims are celebrating 2nd Syawal.. Its a celebration & happiness for those who hv completed their duty that is to fast in ramadhan. The way to celebrate it is by remembering Allah the Almighty. I was @ my cousin's house today.. out of sudden, she asked about my journey to wearing hijab. I just started to wear hijab.. The last two years i think. I wanted to tell her the whole story but we were sitting in a big group and i know i hv to put it in a short and simple explaination. I told her i know that one day i will wear hijab just that i dont really know when..
Then one day i talk to my husband about it and he was really supportive. We went to buy basic colors and since then i started to wear hijab.. InsyaAllah. Ya Allah, tolong hambaMu untuk mengingatiMu, bersyukur kepadaMu & melakukan ibadah yg terbaik keranaMu.

We sent mama & abah to tabung haji, bayan lepas today. their flight to jeddah delayed until 7.00pm. tabung haji has provided rooms for them to rest until then. there were lots of emotional scenes.. according to schedule, they will be back on 23/11/2011. hope they are in good health...

kenduri @ my parent's 02/10/2011

my parents are going to perform haj this year, they will be leaving any time soon. just waiting confirmation from Tabung Haji. the kenduri began with recital of Al-Fatihah, Surah Yassin and doa selamat. family and friends attended. haji mabrur is what every pilgrims wish to attain. So, i'm wishing them the same, good health and safe home.
